Beary Busy Bee

WOW! Has it really been six months since I've updated this thing?? I suppose that tells ya what a busy bee I've been.

And speaking of bees...

Here are some of my latest creations my daughter and her friend didn't mind modeling for me:

Light Bulb!

So, one of my Twitter friends tweeted that he wanted a gru scarf... You know the one:

Head Gear

I spotted a girl wearing a cute crochet headband while in line for my mocha frappé @ Barnes & Noble one day... After interrogating this stranger about her cute head gear I got a text from a friend to stop bothering his friends. haha I have since included her in my group of talented people I know and have since been inspired by her to create some {cute} head gear of my own...

These will also be heading to the Art Festival with me this weekend.

Thanks to my Goobie for always being my willing model!!

The Bunny Trail

My incredibly talented cousin posted some pics of her sock monkey on Facebook, and I was immediately hooked! My first attempt at a sock monkey was... *okay* - I admit it was a little over-stuffed.

My second one was claimed by my son, and (I must admit) I'm kinda glad: I thought it was too cute to part with.

And, with Easter coming up, I hopped on down the bunny trail and became addicted to making sock BUNNIES:

These are the more "Easter-y" looking ones, with their pastel colors... but I have about 20 or so more in random colors - which I will be taking with me to The Art Festival this weekend.

Little Lion Prince

This is by far one of my most favorite crochet creations thus far! I created it with my then not-yet-born nephew in mind (as was the inspiration for most of my early Twisted Yarn pieces).

And here he is, sportin his very own Little Lion Prince hat at our shoot... A lil' snug, but look at him workin the camera!

And of course the lion prince needs a crown:
